I live with my child in a small rural area, and the feedback from the kindergarten teacher about their development was not sufficient for me. When creating the DigiLa platform, it was very important to me that as a parent, I could take responsibility for assessing, monitoring, and supporting my child's development, and that our location would not be a hindering factor.
I want to create a tool that supports the teacher's work and increases the quality of early childhood education to a new level. I worked as a teacher for years and I know how challenging it is to monitor curriculum progress and each child's development.

I believe that the biggest advantage of creating DigiLa is the opportunity to discover each child's strengths and superpowers, which often remain in the background in kindergarten. Additionally, DigiLa supports novice teachers and inexperienced babysitters who are not yet familiar with the curriculum.
When I was a small child, I was very interested in how and why things work in the world. I want every child to have the same courage to explore and investigate their surroundings based on their interests and needs. I believe DigiLa helps achieve this.
Developing DigiLa has provided the opportunity to create something truly unique in education by applying modern technology. Our goal is to bring more clarity to children's development and offer a tool that supports both parents and teachers. DigiLa combines data and ease of use to help every child fully realize their potential.

I know how huge potential is hidden in toddlers, which can be discovered through various experiences. I believe that a supportive environment and informed adult are essential for this. I hope that DigiLa is a tool that helps support a child's most important years.
DigiLa helps to analyze each child's development using various data and make conclusions from it – thus the child, their needs, and abilities are most important. Additionally, parents have a better understanding of how to support their child's development at home. As a parent of two small children, I eagerly await the opportunity for more consistent cooperation with the kindergarten.
I am inspired by the opportunity to make the teacher's work easier, faster, and more systematic. The main goal is to recognise and support each child's potential. I have a dream: thanks to DigiLa platform, teacher and parent will be one team- supporting together child's development.
One of Velvet's principles is the thesis 'intuition is nice, but science is even better.' Often, we raise our children purely based on intuition during their most receptive age. When the opportunity arose to add a good dose of conscious and scientific approach, we didn't hesitate for a moment that this is the place where we must participate and give our best contribution. After all, we are talking about our and all of Estonia's future. May this future be smart, healthy, and successful!
